Easily manage and track attendance for your resident events directly from your Flamingo App. This article walks you through how to check in residents using either manual swipe or QR code scanning.
IMPORTANT - Only tab the "Confirm" button at the end of the check-in process once you have completed the check-in process. There is no going back once yo've hit "Confirm" to finalize the check in process.๐ Step 1: Log In
Log into your building's Flamingo Resident App using your admin username and password.
๐ Step 2: Go to the Event Schedule
Once logged in, navigate to the Event Schedule section of the app.
๐ Step 3: Select the Event
Tap the specific event you want to manage.
โ Step 4: Tap on โCheck-in Peopleโ
On the event details screen, tap the "Check-in People" button to begin checking in attendees.
๐ฅ Step 5: Choose Your Check-In Method
You can check residents in using two different methods:
๐ Option 1: Slide to Check In
Simply swipe the residentโs name to the right to mark them as present.
๐ท Option 2: Scan Resident QR Code from Confirmation Email
Tap the Scanning Button to open the camera and scan the QR code the resident presents.
The resident can find the QR code in:
Their event confirmation email
Any reminder emails, including the one sent 24 hours before the event

Youโve now checked in your residents using the Flamingo App. You can switch between methods at any time during the event.
