How to Request the Flamingo Add-On Package in Yardi

This is done so Flamingo can integrate with your building if you have Yardi.

Here are the steps to do so:

  1. Put in a case to Yardi requesting the Flamingo add-on package to be loaded to your Yardi database. This will make Flamingo appear in your Voyager for configuration. Your Yardi Account Managers can assist  with setting up the interface if you don't know how to do it.
  2. Once this is done, supply Flamingo with the items below. You can find the database name in Administration > About. Please use the database name for the server name as well. Make sure you don't provide a SQL alias name as the server name since that doesn't work.
    1. User Name
    2. Password
    3. Server Name
    4. Database
    5. Base URL
Your minimum plugin versions are below:
- Voyager 7S with Interfaces PIv20
- Service Requests Piv14
- Common Data PIv17.1

Add-on package required prior to 7s Service Requests PIv15

That being said, with the web methods that we are currently using, we can work with any client on Voyager 7S who has Interfaces Service Requests and Interfaces Resident Data or Common Data installed.
(We just can’t work with clients on Voyager 6008 or other versions of the software like Breeze).

Select Interface Configuration

Highlight Service Requests > Select Flamingo > Save

If you want to configure a list of properties, you can go into Interfaces > Configuration > Bulk Property Interface Configuration > Enter a property list > Select Service Requests > Select Flamingo and Save.

Server name should always be same as Database Name* if client is Yardi-hosted.
* Previously to 3/2018, the values in these fields may have been different.
Old server names may work for a while, but these sever names are being retired, so
at some point will stop working.

URL:

Webservice ULR:

https://Domain/Yardi_Voyager_WebShare_Name/WebServices/...

Providing vendor root URL for your Voyager login
should be sufficient, as vendor should know suffix to use.

EXAMPLE:  https://www.yardiasp.com/12345name

Voyager Login page:
https://www.yardiasp.com/12345name/pages/LoginSaaS.aspx

Vendor then appends on to this URL root the Webservice suffix.

Webservice URL for Service Request:
