To add amenities: Navigate to Dashboard.GetFlamingo.Com > Manage > Amenities > Amenities > + Add Amenity.
When you add amenities, you need to add the following about each amenity:
- Pictures - you can add multiple pictures
- Amenity Name
- Floor Location
- Description
- Can this amenity be reserved? : select whether or not residents can reserve the amenity. If residents can reserve it, you should select if only one resident can reserve it at a time or if multiple residents can reserve the amenity at a time.
- Opening Time
- Closing Time
- Reservation Increment - select an increment, which acts as the minimum amount of time a resident can reserve the amenity. You can combine this this "Limit Resident Usage" to create a daily or weekly limit. E.g. if you set Reservation Increment to "3 hours" and daily limit usage to "3 hours", then a resident can only reserve this once per day. You can also achieve the same thing by limiting number of active reservations.

- Security Deposit
- Email mgmt each time this is booked - If selected, management is notified via email whenever a resident books
- Set as parking amenity - If selected, this allows you to the parking management feature for this particular amenity, which you can call "Parking" or "Guest" Parking
- Active Reservations Per Resident - allows you to limit how many reservations a resident can have at one time. This helps ensure some residents are not hogging the amenity by having dozens of reservations at the same time
- Days in advance this can be booked - allows you to limit how far in advance a resident can book an amenity
- Allow Guest - Select or unselect based on your guest policy
- Buffer time - if you need to have buffer between reservations, e.g. to clean
- Approval Needed - select this if you need to approve reservations before they are confirmed. You will be notified via email
- Offline Payment - select this if you want to have to approve all amenity reservations and then charge the resident on your ledger rather than the resident paying via Flamingo's payment system.
Once you add the amenities, residents will be able to view and/or reserve the amenities on the app
