Approving Resident Accounts

If your Flamingo app isn't integrated with your property management system

Our integration with your property management system ensures that only Future or Current residents can access your app.

This integration also creates an account automatically for residents so that all they have to do is set a password.

In some situations, residents might try to create an account manually. If the email the resident uses isn't recognized, you'll be notified to approve the account.

Account approvals only happens if a resident is trying to create an account using an email that is not the same as an email in your property management system. If a resident uses the same email as the one found in your property management system, then no approval is required.
 
The purpose is to prevent random people or non-residents from creating accounts in your app. If you have random people creating accounts in your app, they can post inappropriate content in the social feed bulletin board or cause other security issues.
