Prepare for setup
You'll need the contents from the Fire TV Stick box, a Wi-Fi connection, a Wi-Fi password if required, and a HDTV.

Plug in your Fire TV Stick
Insert the Fire TV Stick into one of the HDMI ports on your HDTV, using the HDMI extender if needed. Connect the power adapter to the Fire TV Stick, and plug it into a wall outlet. Turn on your HDTV, and select the applicable HDMI input.

Follow the on-screen guide
An on-screen guide will help you set up your Fire TV Stick. Using your Alexa Voice Remote, choose your language, and select your Wi-Fi network. You can get more help if you are unable to connect to your wireless network or if your remote doesn't work during setup.

Experience Alexa
Press and hold the voice button on your Alexa Voice Remote, and say what you want Alexa to do. You can say things like "Alexa, play Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan" or "Alexa, search for romantic comedies".
